Even though with the mobile phone number implementation, less scam can be seen, there are still too many scams appearing. While we can flag for "double", "obscene", etc, there is no flag for "Scam".
Most of the scams are expensive items sold at unbelievably low price, "shipped from overseas". When contacted, they ask you to transfer money via Western Union. We all heard of those. Can we please get a flag for these?

Non paying commercial ads should be banned as the advertisers repeatedly post ads and robs the space and attention for other users.

There are billions of "mobile phone" ads. Since there are so many, it becomes difficult to browse "Computers & Electronics". Every second, several new phne ads are posted.
Please create their own category for mobile phones. Those like me, who are looking for real computer & electronics will appreciate it!

Instead of only flagging ADS, why not along people to flag users?
Since we can see alot of foreign "sellers" or scammers are posting in pHing.
This reduces bandwidth, and helps search to be faster.

How about our own Top 20:
- Blocked users
- Flaggers
- Most popular ads
- etc.

Ever seen all those ads that are 2-3 months old or more?Some are even sold and the sellers seems lazy to delete it and seems to let it just be.Will really like Phing to have an autodelete function for ads that are more than 1 month old.I believe phing users will only want to see the latest ads.

Presently, users don't seem to be allowed to delete accounts created. Enable it!

I wouldn't mind being able to customise my prefered catagory of new ads after logging into my account instead of needing to browse.

Add a verification process to ensure they have a valid local phone number before they can post ads. this way, if a seller wants to sell something over in Singapore, they have to get a local rep to do so. Of course, there will be ways around it, but it would make it more difficult for scammers to do so and adds a layer of security.

I wouldn't mind paying for posting an ad if it can be listed on the homepage or listed as a suggested ad like "You may be interested in..." when browsing another user's ad.

Sms verification before anyone can leave feedbacks is a good practice since this is an online marketplace, buyers need to feel safe. Or simply do random checks on those leaving or receiving feedbacks. Ban the ip address of whom are guilty of such activities.. Cos it is misleading for the buyers..

How come i cannot closed the ads that have been sold

It is unfair to only see votes that agree with the feedback, i hope that there will be disagree voted in the feedback, to balance the fairness :D

Let user have the choice of putting up a classified ad (with date of expiry and link to external forum) or an auction. Some other auction sites do not require special registration methods and because of that, spamming occurs. Meanwhile, ebay requirement of credit card number is too stringent (Privacy concerns). Therefore, phing has the advantage of reducing spam through the required handphone registration (unless spammer buys lots of prepaid). This also lowers (But not eliminates) scams from other countries.

Phing.com should send a duplicate message to the respective emails to the sender for further references and remembrance. Cos sometimes, we do bid n ask for various ads, but when the subscribers get back to us, we dont know which item are they talking about.

Maybe Phing.com could give a solution to this. Thanks!
